MFL learning unit: Planning lessons
Objectives and intended outcomes

The Modern Foreign language Framework of objectives, launched in 2003, has much to offer when developing lesson plans. It provides a focus for teaching and learning and underpins progression over Years 7, 8 and 9.

This e-Learning unit will help you to plan more effective and manageable MFL lessons by giving you practical strategies for reviewing and developing your current practice.

Improved lesson planning will help learners understand what it is they are to learn. They will be more actively engaged and this will increase their confidence of success. Evidence suggests that this will help raise standards of teaching and learning.
