% achievement

The percentage of pupils who attain a given result or above (for example level 4+) has been a key indicator of attainment. We calculate the percentage of pupils achieving a given level in national tests by using the number of pupils reaching or exceeding the appropriate levels and dividing by the number of pupils eligible for assessment. These include all the pupils who were absent or unable to access the test. The percentages are rounded to the nearest whole figure.
