Analysing areas of learning compared with local or national data will provide information that will inform curriculum development and indicate:
- where the school may be struggling to achieve the Early Learning Goals where other schools do not;
- strengths and weaknesses in provision that is specific to the school;
- supports or challenges moderation procedures.
